Not sure if I'll get to this in my interview with Mc, but I know he encourages people to use Muni's commendation system. There's an official process whereby a passenger can submit a commendation for a transit employee. That commendation will, indeed, be passed along to the employee. And it means a lot to them. (I don't know if most transit systems have a similar process).

I wonder if there's anything like that here in Japan, or in some communities... Great idea!
I'm in Canada and don't know that we have anything like a Muni's commendation system. We need one! Our bus drivers are wonderful.
